I am a Senior Software Architect at Ericsson. The reference to Erlang brought me here - not sure how often I will revisit.

I've been programming Erlang for 13 years now. The concepts of FlowBasedProgramming seem very familiar, and as the Erlang virtual machine becomes more and more efficient (now supporting many hundred thousand concurrent processes, theoretically up to 268 million), the Erlang programming style increasingly tends to use processes wherever they make sense conceptually. This is indeed the Erlang credo, and we have lots of anecdotal evidence of how it greatly simplifies things.

See http://www.erlang.org/ for more details on Erlang.
