"Must Run"

This describes an attribute of certain FlowBasedProgramming components that requires that they be executed at least once, even if they receive no data. This situation typically occurs in components that write files, as the output file must at least be cleared - otherwise it will be left containing old data.

Another more subtle case is in the case of Count components, where you want it to emit a zero value, rather than nothing, if it receives no data.
